Michael D. BlosteinConductor |

As a conductor, Mr. Blostein works to reach each performer in a manner that they can relate to and understand, feel a sense of accomplishment, and yet challenge them to constantly improve. In addition to working with school groups, he is the conductor of the Delmar Community Orchestra (fall season)
This is from a combined middle school / high school rehearsal. Even though each group had worked on the composition ("Night Shift" by Richard Meyer) individually, this was their first combined rehearsal. This is from a rehearsal with a more advanced but smaller string orchestra, working on an arrangement of W.C. Handy's "St. Louis Blues". This is the dress rehearsal for the original composition "A Legend of Paul Bunyan", with Mike Wilkinson on trombone and W. Allan Kirk narrating.
